Reproduction methods

Eyass The Goshawk reproduction has always been difficult for the raptors’ breeders.
The aggressiveness of the partners during courting behaviuor creates big problems of cohabitation in aviary.
I tested "natural" reproduction in aviary but the results were scarce and occasional. The cooperative insemination is not only not-invasive, but it seems to be a very efficacious technique.
I had normally about the 95% of fertile eggs and a similar success with the hatches.
In the nest The biggest difficulties we have undoubtely with the spontaneous ejaculation on the fist, by the tiercels and with the last hatching period of the eggs and with the natural breeding of the chicks, by females.
I leave my chicks with their mums up to 4 weeks and I supply them with food everytime without showing myself.
